Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Her family was an artist family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. She started as a photo assistant after that she moved on to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
