Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Ali MacGraw is well-known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising actress. MacGraw became a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After just three short films MacGraw was named as the top female performer at the box office in history. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three occasions.
