Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and author who won several Awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. The daughter of a family of artists in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. In the beginning she began as an photographer's assistant. Later on, her career shifted towards modeling and directing. The first two films she made were noticed and she received an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies she was deemed as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw married three people.
