Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous awards. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. Beginning she was employed as an assistant in photography. Later on, her career shifted to modeling and directing. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years she was named the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
