Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). Her family was an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, and then turned to acting and modeling. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actress. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office star across the globe. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
