Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget papers. Although she initially found the position interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. Before selling the business the store, she worked for an entire 18 years transforming it into the most successful shop. Numerous different cookbooks and magazines came later. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a huge success. Also, Ina sells products that range from food items to storage containers and equipment. Ina has never attended any cooking academy and has never worked in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her easy approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment. Some of her best known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
