Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. Her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise began with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next role that she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise kept juggling her career effectively between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director for popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
